B2B Marketing Spending Cuts?
added: 2008-02-20

BtoB magazine has found that although many B2B marketers are concerned about the economy, most are not altering their budgets.

Nearly six out of 10 respondents reached in January and February 2008 said they had not revised their original 2008 marketing budgets in response to concerns about a possible recession in the US.

Of the remaining B2B marketers, 29.4% revised their marketing budgets down, while 12.3% revised their budgets up.

Of those that have revised their budgets down, 45.3% said they were cutting back on print ads. Only 6% said they planned to cut their online marketing spending.

Nearly half of those that have increased budgets said they planned to increase online marketing spending.
